Using some back-of-the-napkin arithmetic, it also appears to be cheaper than most prepaid phone plans, though you may have a hard time spending all your Burner credits because of the pricing structure. You manage all your numbers from a central location, and can disconnect numbers you're no longer using. The main advantage that Burner offers over a cheap prepaid phone plan is convenience. Some of these integrations seem more useful than others, but it shows an effort on the part of Burner to go beyond merely providing disposable numbers. I couldn't find any way to answer the call. When I called one of the Burner numbers on my Nexus 6 or Nexus 5, the app threw up a notification but tapping it did nothing. However, receiving calls through the app is another matter. Texts and voicemails (Yes, Burner handles that, too.) in Burner appear as threaded messages, just like they would on any other chat application. I was pleased to see that there was almost no latency when making calls through Burner. I had no trouble making calls or sending texts from Burner, nor did I have any trouble sending or receiving texts.
